Alexander Mathe
Well, he fits in nicely: Alexander makes sure
that bikers, triathletes and runners
are already good in training but
even better on race day.
Carrying a surname that is the German abbreviation for “mathematics“ Alexander Mathe was probably bound to love numbers. In his master thesis the numbers he was mainly interested in were those regarding running economy in triathlon. Alex compared the differences that road- and triathlon bikes make on the first few kilometres of the run. As he’s worked as a swim coach, too, since 2010, he knows the theoretical part of all three triathlon disciplines well.
Since 2008 he’s proving that he also knows how to execute them physically. Back then he started triathlon racing inspired by Challenge Roth that he will tackle soon as an athlete. However, Alex, who has a Master of Sports and Exercise Science degree (TU Munich), has always been sporty: he did some skiing, mountain biking, climbing and judo. At our Munich-based institute Alex will coach our athletes.
