Hosea Frick

Flat roads are not Hosea’s thing. But luckily
our Munich-based managing director lives very
close to the Alps – and works just as close with
our athletes – which is exactly his thing.

Hosea Frick is managing director of HYCYS and heads our Munich office. The fact that the mountains are almost on his doorstep is of course a perfect match for his passion for mountain biking and road cycling. Especially in the pro field of both disciplines he has years of experience and has gained profound expertise – for example as coach of mountain bike pros like Reto Indergand or Lisa Brandau. But amateur athletes can only benefit from his know-how, too.

Hosea knows what efficient, well-structured training looks like not only from a professional point of view, but also from his own experience. After all, he himself is often to be seen riding the trails around Munich. It’s all about a sensible balance between phases of increasing training loads and recovery. Hosea even wrote his master’s thesis on this topic: “Muscular Recovery after Extreme Loads”. And he can hardly imagine a more beautiful place to recover than Munich. What’s left to say, but: Hosea-nna and hallelujah.
