Jennifer Schlie

“Versatility” is just another name for Jenny.
The internationally experienced performance
diagnostician is truly a multi-talent – on land,
in the water and in martial arts.

Jennifer prefers colorful to monotonous. This, e.g., already shows in the cross-border experiences she gained during her studies. She completed her bachelor’s degree in the Netherlands – but in Maastricht, where it’s not flat as the Dutch cliché goes, but rather hilly. For her Master of Science in “Sports, Exercise and Human Performance” she went to the University of Münster – and for her master’s thesis on data collection she visited the American Southern Connecticut State University. Her research object: “The Influence of Cardiorespiratory Fitness on Central Blood Pressure in the Aorta”.

But Jenny is not only interested in the aorta, her heart generally belongs to the interaction between sport and health. For example, she already conducted performance diagnostics at the Institute for Performance and Training during her study time. Even when it comes to her own physical activities, she remains true to her versatile line: swimming, running, cycling – why only choose one? In Münster she was an active member of the local triathlon team – and has been doing martial arts since her youth. Convincing arguments, aren’t they? Jenny, you simply nailed it.
